Recipe for Homeade Apple Sauce

Ingredients:

- 4 large apples (peeled, cored, and cut into small chunks)

- 1/3 cup water

- 1/4 cup sugar (sub with honey, maple syrup) 

- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice 

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Place ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir well.

2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and reduce heat slightly. Cover and cook 30 minutes, or until the apples are very soft. 

3. Mash with a potato masher or the back of a spoon until the applesauce is desired consistency. Serve and enjoy!
