Meet the New Food Resource Center Coordinator

Meet Sadie Berlin!!

As the food resource center transitioned into the 2024 school year, they were able to hire Hamline Alum and past FRC student worker Sadie Berlin as the new coordinator for the center. We are so excited to have her leadership and food resource center experience to continue to help the Hamline community with food and basic needs insecurities.

A Note from Sadie Berlin

"I joined the FRC during the summer of 2022 as I wanted to get involved with food access work. Growing up, my family dealt with food insecurity, and having that connection to food, I know how important resources–such as the FRC–are and how big of an impact they can make in people’s lives. I started out as a volunteer, became a student worker shortly after, and also completed my internship here. I graduated from Hamline in December 2023 with a major in Public Health, and because I developed such a passion for food access work during my undergraduate time, I applied for the Coordinator position. I got the position and am so grateful to have the opportunity to continue working for this amazing resource and with all of our incredible staff." - Sadie Berlin

Don't be afraid to stop by the Food Resource Center to say hi to Sadie and pick up some food while you are at it!
