Where To Go

Free In-Person Tickets (no livestream or recording will be done of this event): 

Get free tickets for this event on our Eventbrite site at this link. There will be no livestream or recording of this event. Please check out The Mahle Journal for post-event content and reflections. While there will be no full recording, there photographs and short recordings will be taken. Please reach out to Hamline University's Marketing and Communications office at mcs@hamline.edu for more information about the "Media and Marketing Use of Image Likeness and Audio" Policy and how to opt out.

Location of Event on Tuesday, April 16th at 5pm:

This event will be held in the Klas Center building, on the third floor in the Kay Fredericks Room. Once you enter the Klas Center, there are stairs and an elevator to the left. Take these to the third floor and you will find our event. The address of the Klas Center is 1537 W. Taylor Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55104.

Prayer Room location during the event:

There will be a prayer room available during the event on 2nd floor of Klas Center.

Parking  & Wifi Information

Parking

Parking will be available and free on all surface lots on campus. Lot B is the closest parking lot to the Klas Center (which can be referenced on the map above) .

Wifi Information

Free wifi will be available. You can find the logon information at the check-in in the Kay Fredericks Room the day of the event.

5:00pm: Doors Open

5:15pm: Welcome and Introductions, University Chaplain Kelly Figueroa-Ray

5:20pm: Scriptural Reasoning Workshop, Dr. Peter Ochs and leaders from the Society of Scriptural Reasoning

7:25pm: Welcome Words University: Chaplain Kelly Figueroa-Ray, Acting/Interim President Kathy Murray, Steve Mahle and Rev. Kathi Austin Mahle

7:30pm: Introduction of Dr. Ford, 2024 Mahle Lecture Series keynote speaker

7:40pm: Keynote Lecture:  “The Promise of Scriptural Reasoning” by Dr. David Ford, followed by a time of Q&A and discussion
