Welcome

My name is Brooke Boettcher, and I will be your child’s first grade teacher this year. I am so excited to begin the school year and to partner with you in helping your child learn and grow!

This will be my fourteenth year teaching first grade at Marcy Elementary, and my 23rd year of teaching overall. Before coming to Marcy, I taught K3 in Milwaukee for four years, then moved back to Green Bay where I spent three years in kindergarten, one year in second grade, and a year in a second/third grade combination.

I grew up in Green Bay and have lived in Brookfield for the past 4½ years. I have a 4½-year-old son, Austin, who I’m sure your child will hear plenty about! He loves dogs, dinosaurs, firefighters, police officers, paramedics, animals, magic shows, pretending, reading, dancing, and so much more. We love going on adventures together and treasure every minute we have. He is funny, smart, observant, and loves making people laugh.
