Biography
My name is Olivia Adams, and I am currently a senior in West Hall High School taking Art V Honors. I am in the National Arts Honor Society as a member and it is one of my proudest chapters of life that I have participated in. I have also in the past participated in National Honor Society and Beta Club, as well as taking other honors classes unrelated to art, but still apply what I learn to these classes. I have been taking art classes for 4 years, and even one year took two at once, and it has been my main outlet for my creativity. Everyday I look forward to what artworks I can produce to brighten someone’s day or put a smile on their face, as this is my main wish for what I produce.
My art classes have allowed me to approach life with lessons it's taught me, like how to approach situations with creativity and outside the box. I will forever be grateful to my two wonderful art teachers that helped me along my journey of pursuing the arts and I am regretful to know that this is my last year to learn such valuable information that is best taught in person for me. Though I will always carry the lesson they both have taught me: embrace your mistakes and turn them into happy accidents. Just because one thing does not go according to your plans, does not mean that it can not become something even greater. I might take what I have learned and become an art teacher myself. If not, I will keep it as a hobby as I do not wish to overuse my passion and let my love for art die.
