Biography
My name is Athena Lux and I am a senior at West Hall High School. I am proud to call myself an Honor Thespian along with the President of Troupe 4589’s Thespian Society. I am also a member of West Hall’s National Honor Society, West Hall’s Chorale Group, and the Tri-M Club. I have been involved in theatre since 2019. I remember seeing an audition for Thoroughly Modern Millie and knew I wanted to try out. After experiencing my first show, I fell in love with theatre and all of the aspects that come along with it; I fell in love with the community it creates.
After that, I took many theatre classes, Musical Theatre I&II, Fundamentals of Theatre to name a few. I have also performed on many Spartan Players productions (Steel Magnolias, Proof, Frozen Jr. The Great Gatsby, Godspell Jr. and currently playing Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid) I have also been a part of the Literary Team for two years, teched and performed on two One Act Competition Teams, and am currently directing my class play Check Please.
To continue adding to this creative community, I plan to attend college and major in theatre I, and I hope to be a successful actress by the end of my college journey. As I stated, the community this arts form creates is what I fell in love with and so, something that made me decide on pursuing theatrical arts as a career was the people. I share many common interests with people in theatre and have made some of the best of friends while here.
