Zach Gaudreau, formally known as "Coach G", was raised in a small town in Southwest Florida near the Myakka River. He graduated from Venice High School in 2005 as Captain of the wrestling team and lead the team to a school-record 2nd place finish at the state championships. He even earned himself an individual 3rd place finish.

In 2008 he joined the US Army as a M1 Abrams Armor Crewman AKA a "Tanker". After graduating with the prestigious Excellence in Armor award, he found himself stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He deployed to Iraq in December 2009 for 12 months and went on over 300 combat missions. In 2012 he was honorably discharged with a meritorious unit citation, Master Tank Driver badge, Expert Marksman badges on multiple weapon systems, as well as the Army Commendation medal.

Coach G began college in 2015 at 28-years old. In the 4 years at college, he earned all A's (except for one B...). Again, he excelled, graduating with highest honors from the University of South Florida College of Education, along with being the lead author of a published scholarly article, and earning a national award: Major of the Year.

After graduating in 2019, he moved up North to be with his future wife. After teaching Physical Education in Washington, DC for 2 years he got married. Soon into his 3rd year, his wife gave birth to a beautiful girl, named Signy (SIG-nee). They wanted to raise their daughter in a tight-knit community near family, so they moved to Dahlonega in the summer of 2022 after Coach G crushed his interview at Chestatee Academy.

Now, Coach G and his family live in Lula, Georgia with their dogs, Runa and Neeko. He teaches Health, coaches girls soccer, and loves spending time with his family.
