• November 17-21 FALL SPIRIT WEEK 

  • Students may donate a $1 each day to participate. All proceeds go to United Way of Hall County.

• Our school is proud to support the United Way! Members of the community are encouraged to make donations directly to the school to help contribute to this year’s United Way Campaign. Every donation helps make a meaningful impact in the lives of families right here in our community.

• The Annual Food drive runs October 27th through November 7th.  Please consider donating non-perishable items as food reserves this year are critically low and everything donated goes directly back to our community.

• The final deadline for purchasing a senior ad is December 31st. Visit https://yearbookordercenter.com/job/977 to purchase and design your ad.

• Club picture day is December 16th. See your club sponsor for more information!

• Chestatee Academy will be the host this year for Veterans Day Celebration for Chestatee High and Chestatee Academy communities.  This year’s celebration will be at Chestatee Academy on November 11th at 11:00am.  Please RSVP by November 5th.

  • Chestatee High will feature a tribute to those who served and are currently serving our country.  Any community Veteran (living or deceased) connected to a CHS student or staff member can be featured on this presentation.  All past entries will remain on the presentation.

• Monday, November 3rd is War Eagle Night (intrasquad scrimmage for MS and HS basketball teams) at Chestatee HS 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. $5 admission, concessions and spirit wear will be sold. 

• The Academic Team will have an away meet on Monday, November 3rd at Flowery Branch High School 

• Our cross country teams competed at Sectionals this past weekend, and we're proud of how they represented Chestatee!

  • Boys Team: Finished 15th out of 23 teams at Sectionals and placed 7th in the Region.

  • Girls Team: Finished 3rd out of 18 teams at Sectionals and 3rd in the Region!

    • The girls entered the season with a goal of placing 3rd in the region and they accomplished exactly that! They even tied for 2nd place, narrowly missing the tiebreaker by just 4 points to Dawson County.  We also had several athletes from both the boys and girls teams achieve personal records today, showing how much growth and effort our runners have put in this season. Individually, Emma Dobson placed 2nd overall at Sectionals, and Kayleigh McBride finished 13th in the Region. Both had outstanding performances!

    • I'm excited to share that the girls team has qualified for the State Championship and will compete next Saturday at 2:45 p.m. at Carrollton High School.

• Voting for the Crosley Custom Cruiser Contest officially opens today at 12 pm EST/9 am PST.

  • At that time, you can head to crosleyradio.com/cruiser-contest to see the full map of schools participating across the country. The map shows the regional breakdown, so please double-check your state — a few are split between two regions.

  • Here’s how it works:

    • Voters can vote once per day per region through Friday, Nov. 7th.

    • The winner of each region will move on to the finals round, which will be judged by a team at Crosley.

    • Each like on a social media post about your school’s Cruiser counts as bonus votes toward your final total.

  • We encourage you to get your community involved — share your students’ designs, post on social media, let your local news know about the contest, and spread the word to rally those daily votes! We can’t wait to see the excitement and support roll in for these incredible student creations.

• The Chestatee Swim Team made a splash at the Fall Frenzy Invitational hosted by West Hall! Our athletes brought incredible energy to the pool—cheering each other on, racing hard, and celebrating their amazing progress. We’re thrilled to highlight their standout performances, including several First-Time Swims and impressive Personal Records!

• Nuestros equipos de carreras a campo traviesa compitieron en los Seccionales el pasado fin de semana, ¡y estamos orgullosos de cómo representaron a Chestatee!

  • Equipo masculino: terminó en el 15º lugar de 23 equipos en los Seccionales y obtuvo el 7º lugar en la Región.

  • Equipo femenino: terminó en el 3er lugar de 18 equipos en los Seccionales y 3er lugar en la Región.

    • Las chicas iniciaron la temporada con el objetivo de quedar en el 3er lugar de la región, ¡y lograron exactamente eso! Incluso empataron en el 2º lugar, perdiendo el desempate por apenas 4 puntos frente a Dawson County. Además, varios atletas de los equipos masculino y femenino lograron récords personales demostrando todo el crecimiento y esfuerzo que nuestros corredores han puesto en esta temporada. A nivel individual, Emma Dobson quedó 2ª en general en los Seccionales y Kayleigh McBride terminó en el 13º lugar de la Región. ¡Ambas tuvieron actuaciones destacadas!
