GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB FUNCTION:
The A2 will serve as the primary backup for the A1, if they should become unable to run the show. The A2 will also work backstage with the Assistant Stage Managers to assist with any microphone mishaps during the show, as well as assist with any quick costume changes necessary.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn the show and be ready to take over the board if needed.
Work backstage with the ASM’s to ensure that all mics are functioning and secured properly.
Restock backstage Audio Crash Kit.
Assist Actors with quick changes during the run of the show.
Attend all Tech rehearsals and performances.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
2 years of experience in Audio mixing.
Proficient usage of Yamaha CL5 Mixing Console.
Working knowledge of wireless body microphones.
Friendly and flexible personality.
Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively.
Ability to sew on buttons and snaps (Not Required, but Preferred)

PAY: $60 per performance
AVAILABILITY: Hiring for several productions beginning April 2024. Good availability Wednesday - Saturday afternoon/evenings required.
