Rules

• speeches must be three minutes long

• your speech must be written at school, but you can seek feedback from home

• you will have some class time to practice your speech, but you can practice at home too

• this is an independent task (you're on your own) - but if you need help, please ask

• cue cards optional

Timeframe:

• Week 5 - write speech

• Week 6 - practice speech

• Week 7 - present speech to class

• Top 3 speakers go through to the final - Tuesday 16 Sept - Week 10 (speeches must be learnt by heart and cue cards are compulsory for these people)
