उपस्थिति नीति - Attendance policy

ज्ञानकृति स्कूल सभी विद्यार्थियों से १००% उपस्थिति की अपेक्षा रखता है। यथाविधि:

• प्राथमिक स्कूल के विद्यार्थी को अगली कक्षा में दाखिले के लिए न्यूनतम ९३% उपस्थिति अनिवार्य है।
• प्रीस्कूल के विद्यार्थी को अगली कक्षा में दाखिले के लिए न्यूनतम ८५% उपस्थिति अनिवार्य है।

स्कूल में आमतौर पर लगभग २०० कार्यालीन दिवस होते हैं, और ७% छुट्टियाँ १५ दिन के बराबर (एक औसत महीने के कार्यालीन दिवस जितनी) और १५% छुट्टियाँ ३० दिन के बराबर (लगभग दो महीने के कार्यालीन दिवस जितनी) होती हैं। प्राकृतिक परिस्थियों के कारण होने वाली जरूरी छुट्टियों के लिए पर्याप्त छूट पहले से ही निर्धारित है, अतः उपरोक्त नीति को सख्ती से लागू किया जाएगा। यदि विद्यार्थी दी गई सीमा से अधिक छुट्टियाँ लेते हैं, जिसमें बड़ी बीमारियों के इलाज और आराम के लिए महत्वपूर्ण समय की आवश्यकता होती हैं, या किसी अन्य महत्वपूर्ण कारणों से लिए गए अवकाश शामिल हैं, तो उसकी मंजूरी स्कूल प्रबंधन समिति से आवश्यक होगी।

Gyankriti School desires 100% attendance of students of all age groups studying in the school. Nevertheless, as a rule:

• Junior School student must have 93% attendance to be eligible for promotion to the next grade.
• Preschool student must have 85% attendance to be eligible for promotion to the next grade.

The school has approximately 200 working days for children, and 7% leaves amount to 15 days (almost a month of working days) and 15% leaves amount to 30 days (close to two months of working days). Since sufficient leeway has already been given for some natural circumstances under which leave needs to be taken, the policy as stated above will be implemented strictly. The exceptional circumstances under which students may exceed the limit given include major illnesses which require significant time for treatment and recovery. There may be other critical reasons for extended leaves all of which need to be approved by the School Management Committee.
