As a director, Steven recently directed a staged concert production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods in a co-production by National Asian Artists Project and Prospect Theater Company, involving an 18-member cast, 20-member chorus, 13 children, and a 6-member orchestra. The event was featured in BroadwayWorld.com and Playbill.com.
His work has been seen throughout New York City, including productions of Northanger Abbey and The Monkey King with Common Man Musicals and NAAP's productions/presentations of Oliver!, You Gave Me a Sheep, How Love Feels, Sign, and Blind.
He has also served as a directing/choreographic assistant for A Chorus Line (2006 Broadway revival), Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella (New York City Opera), The King and I (national tour), Greetings from Yorkville (NYC), and Oklahoma! (NAAP).
