About Me
My name is Courtney Lewis Thomas and I have been teaching in Greenwood School District 50 for 10 years. I taught all subjects in 3rd grade at Springfield Elementary for seven years, and have been teaching Modern World History in 7th grade at Westview Middle School for three years now. I absolutely love my job, and teaching 7th grade has been my favorite experience so far in my teaching career!
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Sam, and my American Bulldog, Miles. We drink lots of coffee at home and spend our free time watching movies, listening to good music, and making/eating fantastic meals. My husband is actually the chef in the family. I am quite the homebody, but also enjoy getting out of the house occasionally to hang with friends or see new places. My favorite place to visit so far has been NYC.
