Student Laptop

Save any Unsaved work and Close out of all Open applications (Word, OneNote, Outlook etc.)

Completely shut down the laptop
Hold down the Power Button until it shuts completely off (at least 10 seconds)
Wait a full 30 seconds
Power back up the laptop
Check to see if everything is working.

If you need to work immediately Open the office portal and use OneNote through there: Office Portal

If you have some time, fully restart the laptop:
Hold down the Power Button until it shuts completely off (at least 10 seconds)
Wait a full 30 seconds
Power back up the laptop
Check to see if everything is working.

Step 1:
Try another charger if one is available.
Does it work? If yes, your charge is probably bad you will need to purchase a new charger. Please email Tech@gwa.com to ensure that is the issue.
