Intro to STEM (Robotics & Electronics Engineering) is a one-semester projects-based course that introduces Robotics, Engineering, and Technology. In Robotics, students will design, build, and program VEX IQ and LEGO Mindstorms robots. In Engineering, students will learn the basics of electricity, electronics, and soldering. Students will also build a Simple Motor, a Solar Spinner, and LED bracelet. In Technology, students will learn how to document their activities using screencast, QR codes, and media editing tools. All students will develop strategies including critical thinking, peer tutoring, and cooperative learning.
No previous robotics experience is necessary
