Our school year changed in an abrupt and unexpected way in 2020.
Summer Experience will give us the opportunity to see each other FACE to FACE, get ready to return to school in the Fall, and have fun together.
The Colorado Department of Education has issued a Summer School Purpose and Goal Guide to provide guidelines for our programming. CBES Summer Experience is designed to accomplish the goals of remediation, acceleration/enrichment, and social connection and support.

The mission of the Gunnison Watershed School District and the Crested Butte Community School is to “ensure all students are successful.” Summer Experience is one of the many programs we offer to fulfill our mission. Our Summer Experience program is a fun mix of academics, adventure, and creativity. The program is brought to you by the Gunnison Watershed School District Fund 26.
