Yee Piew

Mr. Lim has been a cornerstone of our academy, bringing over 20 years of dedicated teaching experience as a guitar instructor, since joining us in 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Music from University Putra Malaysia and has not only guided countless students in their guitar journey but also taken his talents beyond the classroom. Mr. Lim is the instructor for the Guitar Society at Confucian Private School, where he shares his passion for music with a broader community of young musicians.

In addition to his teaching, Mr. Lim is a highly skilled composer and music producer. His impressive portfolio includes composing and producing music for a variety of significant projects such as weather forecasts, a special Chinese New Year montage for Mandarin News on RTM, music for a short film by eHomemakers, and music packages for RTM’s English News, Info Sukan, Berita Nasional 1, Niaga, Berita Parlimen, and Tamil News. His diverse musical contributions have added a unique flavor to these productions, showcasing his creative versatility and depth of expertise.

Beyond his work as a teacher and composer, Mr. Lim has actively participated in the performance scene. As a talented flutist, he was part of the Sinfonia Orchestra and served as the 2nd desk flutist in the University Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra. He also lent his voice as a tenor in the University Conservatoire Choir, demonstrating his broad musical abilities across multiple instruments and genres.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and multi-faceted musician as part of our team. Mr. Lim’s dedication to both his students and his craft shines through in every lesson, and we are proud to have him continue inspiring the next generation of musicians!
