Khairul

Meet **Khairul**, a passionate and experienced music educator with a Diploma in Music from Aswara, earned back in 2004. His journey in the music world has been rich and diverse, spanning over 15 years of teaching guitar, ukulele, and bass. Khairul’s experience goes beyond teaching—he has been actively involved in the local music scene as both a performer and a music director. 

In 2008, he was nominated for Best Music/Sound Design at the Boh Cameronian Awards for his work on *Hominodun: The Nabahu Princess*, showcasing his talent as a music director. His skills in music arrangement also shone through in 2012, where he achieved second place in the Festival Nasyid Kebangsaan and first place in the Festival Nasyid Peringkat Negeri Selangor with his group Al-Zulfa. In 2018, his outstanding work earned him the Best Music Arrangement award at *Rentak Bitara*, adding to his growing list of accomplishments.

Alongside teaching, Khairul has served as a band instructor at UPNM, and has contributed his talents as an audio editor at Aswara. His teaching style is approachable and fun, making him an excellent guide whether you're a beginner or someone looking to refine your skills.
