Parking for Indoor Ceremony:
Accessible parking will be in the gravel area behind the PE center. I have attached a map image below. We will have a golf cart and staff ready to serve as mobility aids for anyone who needs support
If you have concerns, address Guilford College Staff or call Public Safety at 336-316-2909.
Seating:
An area on the gym floor has been designated for accessible seating (seats with backs). We will be able to get anyone in need from the car to a seat before the ceremony and transport them to Founders for the reception.
If preferred, you may watch the live feed of the ceremony from the Carnegie Room in Hege Library or Dana Auditorium.
Other:
American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be provided.
The ceremony will be Live Streamed to the Carnegie Room in Hege Library and Dana Auditorium.

Accessibility for Visitors
Community Events:
Attendees with disabilities may use the following forms to request a reasonable accommodation for a Guilford College-sponsored event. This includes graduation, orientation, and other events held on campus.
Please submit your responses at least seven (7) business days prior to the event. If an event is posted less than seven days prior to the event, then you may complete and submit the form as soon as possible and the college will make reasonable efforts to provide accommodations.

Transportation on campus: Public Safety provides 24-7 courtesy escorts, which may include a golf cart ride. Allow 15-30 minutes for staff to arrive.
Mobility devices: Guilford does not provide loaner wheelchairs, scooters, or other personal mobility devices. Attendees may contact Guilford College Public Safety for further assistance at 336-316-2909.
Parking: Public Safety provides temporary accessible (handicapped) parking permits for short-term use (with documentation from ARC). If you need an extended pass, please contact your provider for a prescription. See the link below for the parking map, including accessible parking.
Events: Visitors should contact the hosting department or person for accessibility needs. The ARC will assist the department as needed.
