Honors & Advanced Placement Academy

There are THREE PARTS to the AP Academy:

PART I: GUHSD and a Tradition of Excellence. PART II: The Benefits of AP. PART III: RIGOR & PREPARING FOR COLLEGE.

You can locate these parts in the upper right-hand area of the site. Each part holds extremely beneficial information when it comes to choosing rigorous courses during a student's four years in high school. You will also find our resources and checklist pages along with an exit survey we encourage you to complete. When filling out the exit survey, we are able to collect contact information and be happy to meet with you and show you what Cortez is all about and how we are honored to be part of such an esteemed district.
