Contacting School Counselors

Students

  • Walk in before school, during lunch, or after school (no appointment is necessary). This method is best for students who have a minor concern or question that can be addressed quickly.
  • Make a Student Appointment Request either online using the form below. This method is best for students who have a minor concern or question that may take more time to address. The link to the form is also available on the El Capitan website under the STUDENTS tab or by filling out the blue “Student Appointment Request” form (available in the Front office at the receptionist desk).
  • Walk in anytime. This method is ONLY for students who have a concern or situation that needs immediate attention.
  • Email your counselor with your question or concern.
  • For college help:

    • Visit the College and Career Center Wednesdays @ lunch beginning 9/19

Parents/Guardians

  • If you have a question about your student's current grade or content in a course, contact the teacher directly or visit the teacher’s web page. The teacher contact information can be located under the “Staff” tab on the El Capitan home page.
  • If you have a general counseling question or concern, the most effective way to contact your student's counselor is via phone or e-mail.
