For over 35 years, the faculty and staff of El Cajon Valley have sung, danced, and acted their way into the hearts of thousands with Faculty Follies, a talent show to support scholarships for deserving El Cajon Valley students.

The Faculty Follies were begun by a group of teachers who wanted to create a scholarship fund for graduating seniors. Howard “Doc” Roberts, Wally Idle, Don Halte, Emily Barton and others decided to recruit faculty and staff for a talent show. Many schools have held similar events, but you’d be hard pressed to find any as successful and long lived as El Cajon Valley’s. The Faculty Follies has played to packed houses for years.

More importantly, The Faculty Follies Scholarship Fund has raised over $50,000 for scholarships for our students.
