There are a couple of steps a student-athlete has to take prior to being a part of the Girls Golf program.

1. Each potential student-athlete will receive a clearance packet which will need to be completed before they will be allowed to tryout for any athletic team. The clearance packet contains important information including: a Physical Examine, Medical Insurance, and Emergency Information.

2. Once completed you must turn the completed Clearance Packets into the front office or the Athletic Director.

How can my golfer lower his differential and learn more about the game?


1. Take lessons on a regular basis. Get fitted for clubs from a professional clubfitter like Taylor-Made, Golf mart, Golf Smith, Stadium Golf center.

2. Join the Southern California Golf Association's "Youth On Course". $5 green fees and $2 range balls at numerous courses throughout Southern California. Take the simple on-line quiz to become a member.

3. Play in weekend tournaments.

4. Play golf throughout the year, not just golf season.

5. Make good use of your time before/after golf matches.

6. Spend 70% of your practice time on the practice green and 30% on the driving range.

7. Keep notes during all golf lessons.

8. Read golf books.

9. Listen/be a sponge to golf information.
