The Education, Child Development, and Family Services sector provides students with the academic and technical preparation to pursue high-skill, high-demand careers in these related and growing industries.

A two year sequence consisting of:

  • First year - Teaching and Learning 1,2*
  • Second year - Teaching and Learning 3,4*

A two year sequence consisting of:

  • 10th or 11th grade - Developmental Psychology of Children 1,2*
  • 12th grade - Teaching and Learning 3/4*

A two year sequence consisting of:

  • 11th grade - Developmental Psychology of Children*
  • 12th grade - Teaching and Learning 1/2*

A two year sequence consisting of:

  • 11th grade - Teaching and Learning 1/2*
  • 12th grade - Teaching and Learning 3/4*

*The following information shows which courses in the Education, Child Development and Family Services Pathway meet the UC a-g entrance requirements, meet GUHSD graduation requirements, or may earn college credit.
