Teen Patti, often called Indian Poker, is a thrilling card game that brings friends and family together. Its blend of strategy, luck, and bluffing makes it a perennial favorite. If you're new to the game, here's a simple guide to get you started.

The game is traditionally played with three to six players using a standard 52-card deck without jokers. Each player is dealt three cards face down. The objective is to have the best three-card hand or to be the last player remaining in the round by bluffing others into folding.

Hand rankings are similar to poker but adapted for three cards. The highest is a Trail or Set, which is three cards of the same rank. Next is a Pure Sequence, a straight flush using three consecutive cards of the same suit. A Sequence or Straight is three consecutive cards of mixed suits. Then comes a Color or Flush, three cards of the same suit not in sequence. A Pair is two cards of the same rank, and the lowest hand is High Card, where no combinations are made.

Play begins with players placing an initial bet, the ante, into the pot. Looking at their cards, players decide to play blind without seeing their cards again or play seen. Blind players bet at a lower rate but cannot fold. Betting continues round by round with players matching the current bet or folding. A player can also challenge others by declaring a show, comparing cards to see who has the higher hand. The winner takes the entire pot.

The true art of Teen Patti lies in bluffing. Convincing others you have a strong hand while holding weak cards can force folds and lead you to victory. Remember, the game is about fun and social interaction. Play responsibly, set limits, and enjoy the vibrant dynamics of this classic card game.
