We are holding a workshop on model theory at Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Kyoto University. In this workshop, we study the notion of independence from the model theoretical point of view. We welcome any researchers and students who are interested in model theory. This workshop is held as one of RIMS Symposia (Open) sponsored by Research Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Kyoto University.
