What are some highlights of your season so far?
M: "...Being able to cheer at all. With Covid some schools didn't allow their cheerleaders to attend the games so I'm very grateful that we got to be there!"
What affect has cheer had on you throughout your time at Armstrong?
M: "It's definitely made me mindful of what I say and do. I feel like cheerleaders or anyone who plays a sport represents the school in a way. It helps me put out a positive image not only for the school and myself but for the little kids that look up to me!"
What is your favorite memory?
M: "...Cheering at the football games!"
What is your favorite part of cheering?
M: "I would say stunting is definitely my favorite thing to do in cheerleading!"
What is your favorite sport to cheer for?
M: "Football."
What advice do you have for upcoming cheerleaders?
M: "My advice would be to not be afraid to go all out! Part of being a cheerleader is being a performer! Don't let anyone tell you you're doing too much! Just be you and be confident!"
