Unit 1 Lesson 5, students explore how they can use email to communicate with real people in their schools, families, and communities.
Below you will find the complete lesson plan packet as well as the student sheets separated into individual files for easy reproducing, or you can copy them to your Drive and then share them through Google Classroom.
Also, you will find supplementary material that has been prepared to make implementing the lesson much easier.

Teacher Materials & Preparation:
- Review the lesson plan and Nearpod presentation to familiarize yourself with the activities and keywords. Worksheet activities may be included in the Nearpod presentation.
- Copy the Emails in Print Student Handout, one for every two students, or conduct a brief email exchange with another teacher at school and print out a string of at least three messages to show to students. You can also project the email exchange or distribute through your Google Classroom.
- Paper, blank labels or name tags, and markers or crayons
- Access to school email network
