Unit 1 Lesson 3, students explore what information is private and what should and should not be shared unless you have an adult's permission. Students will learn rules for keeping their information safe.
Below you will find the complete lesson plan packet as well as the student sheets separated into individual files for easy reproducing, or you can copy them to your Drive and then share them through Google Classroom.
Also, you will find supplementary material that has been prepared to make implementing the lesson much easier.

Teacher Materials & Preparation:
- Review the lesson plan and Nearpod presentation to familiarize yourself with the activities and keywords. Worksheet activities maybe included in the Nearpod presentation.
- Prepare to show students an example of an online form, like the checkout page on a site like Amazon (www.amazon.com) or the registration page on a site like Etsy (www.etsy.com).
- Preview the websites SecretBuilders (www.secretbuilders.com/gameplay/gameplay.html), Scholastic’s The Stacks (www.scholastic.com/kids/stacks), and LEGO® (www.lego.com) and prepare to show them to students.
