In Unit 3, Lesson 3, students explore the concept of privacy in their everyday lives, and as it relates to using the Internet.
Below you will find the complete lesson plan packet as well as the student sheets separated into individual files for easy reproducing, or you can copy them to your Drive and then share them through Google Classroom.
Also, you will find supplementary material that has been prepared to make implementing the lesson much easier.
All lessons are used freely through Common Sense Media and Common Sense Education.
Materials & Preparation
- Paper and pens
- Copy the What’s Private? Student Handout, one for each student.
- If students will not have access to computers with an Internet connection, print out privacy policies from two websites that students commonly use. Make copies for each pair of students.
