In Unit 3 Lesson 1, students learn that they have a digital footprint, which can be searched, shared, and seen by a large, invisible audience.

Below you will find the complete lesson plan packet as well as the student sheets separated into individual files for easy reproducing, or you can copy them to your Drive and then share them through Google Classroom.

Also, you will find supplementary material that has been prepared to make implementing the lesson much easier.

Teacher Materials and Preparation:

Review the lesson plan and Nearpod presentation to familiarize yourself with the activities and keywords. Worksheet activities maybe included in the Nearpod presentation.
Preview the video “The Digital Footprint,” and prepare to show it to students.
Copy the Choose a Host Student Handout, one for every four students, or download a share a copy to predetermined groups through Google Classroom.
