In Unit 1 Lesson 1, students explore what it means to take on responsibilities in both their offline and online communities as a way to learn how to be good digital citizens.
Below you will find the complete lesson plan packet as well as the student sheets separated into individual files for easy reproducing, or you can copy them to your Drive and then share them through Google Classroom.
Also, you will find supplementary material that has been prepared to make implementing the lesson much easier.

Teacher Materials & Preparation:
- Review the lesson plan and Nearpod presentation to familiarize yourself with the activities and keywords. Worksheet activities maybe included in the Nearpod presentation.
- Prepare to draw the Rings of Responsibility on the board. (If you will be projecting the presentation, this is not necessary.)
- Create a version of the Rings of Responsibility in your classroom, large enough for students to sit or stand in. You may want to outline the three rings using masking tape or by formatting concentric circles with chairs.
