Hello 3B families!

My name is Renee DeWitt and this is my 9th year teaching at Neil M Ross. I was also a teacher for a few years at J.J. Nearing. I have taught Grades 1, 2, 3, 6 and for the past several years, I have taught Kindergarten. 

I have 5 children, Hannah, Gabriellah, Noah, Josh and Grace. Hannah has graduated from the U of A and is now a teacher herself. Gabriellah has moved to Calgary to pursue Early Childhood education, Noah will continue his schooling this winter and is now living on his own, Josh will be starting University next fall and my youngest, Grace is conquering High School. I knew when I was very young that I was going to be a teacher,  especially when I would create worksheets for my 2 younger siblings and then force my older sister to answer comprehension questions from the stories I would make her listen to :)

I love being a teacher and I look forward to getting to know your kiddos. We are going to have a great year filled with fun, hard work, growth, independence and many, many laughs.

Hobbies: Spending time in the mountains or ANYWHERE there is ocean, going on road trips with my family and friends, watching movies and taking my puppy Mabel on walks / my other dog Stanley is not a fan of leaving the house :)
