We are focusing on different patterns and their links with tables and graphs.
Students have a learning at home day on the 28th of August. Students have been given a sheet of paper with patterns, table and graph activities on it to complete on Wednesday.
In this unit, we don't only learn what the basic angle rules are, we start to focus on showing our working and algebraic working to use the rules to find a missing fact.
Please remember that showing units in our answer (doesn't have to be in our working) and showing our working is important for showing logical thinking, and our reasoning when we calculated our answers.
Slide shows below have brief notes and some tasks covered by this unit.
Please find below a workspace filled with resources.
Week 8 we are focusing on Negative numbers, multiples, factors and primes.
It is already Term 4! Please remember your pens, pencils, erasers and calculators! We are going to start the term with Probability. Please see the workspace below for more details for the unit. There will be mini tests - not to worry, they are actually quizzes with 1-4 questions on it that will be done in the last 5 minutes of a class every now and then. These quizzes are great to see what you understand of each skill we are learning this term.
Welcome to Term 3 - This term we will continue to use the number workspace - relinked below for the first half. We will be focusing on percentages, decimals and fractions skills. Extension will branch into algebra and reverse calculations.
The second half we will work on measurement skills. Extension will branch into algebra and graphs. Please find the measurement workspace linked below the number workspace.
