Cyber Smart Kids Checklist

1. Keep personal info private
   – Don’t share your full name, address, phone number, school name, or passwords.

2. Use strong passwords
   – Choose passwords that are hard to guess and don’t share them with friends.

3. Think before you click
   – Don’t click on pop-ups, unknown links, or suspicious messages.

4. Tell an adult if something feels wrong
   – If someone is mean, creepy, or asks weird questions online, tell a trusted adult right away.

5. Be kind online
   – Treat others with respect and don’t post anything hurtful.

6. Only talk to people you know
   – Don’t chat with strangers or accept friend requests from people you don’t know.

7. Ask before downloading
   – Get permission before installing games, apps, or clicking on ads.

8. Check your settings
   – Keep accounts private and review your privacy settings regularly.

9. Use secure websites
   – Look for websites that start with "https://" – the “s” means it's more secure.

10. Take breaks from screens
    – Don’t spend too much time online – go play, read, or get outside!
