Naomi Lyter

Class of 2024

Hi! My name is Naomi Lyter and I am a freshman at Greenwood High School. I am a very avid hockey player and hope to take my love of it to the next level. In college, I hope to get into the medical field to follow my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. My love for this sport started in 3rd grade when I went to a few small camps at my school. Before that, I was a huge soccer fan and almost refused to try field hockey. Then, in 4th grade, I played for mini-sticks. In my 4th grade year, I also started indoor for PA Mavericks. This was there last year as a club, so I switched to PA Revolution. After playing with them for about 2 years, I thought it was best for me to go somewhere else. That's when I went to Central Penn Field Hockey Club. I have been with Central Penn now for about 3 years. For all of those 3 years, I have been on a Level 1 team. My school team has been 3- time PIAA District 3 Class A champions and this past year we were also PIAA Class A Runner-Ups. Although I did not start every game, I was the only freshman on the roster. I started 1 game and got a lot of playing time. I'm looking forward to gaining more experience and skills to come back strong for my sophomore season. Thanks for your time and please consider looking at my page.
