Naomi Lyter

Class of 2024

Hi! My name is Naomi Lyter and I am a sophomore at Greenwood High School. I am an avid hockey player and hope to take my love of it to the next level. In college, I hope to get into the medical field to follow my dream of becoming a nurse. My love for this sport started in 3rd grade when I went to a few small camps at my school. Before that, I was a huge soccer fan and almost refused to try field hockey. Then, in 4th grade, I played for mini-sticks. In my 4th grade year, I also started indoor for PA Mavericks. This was their last year as a club, so I switched to PA Revolution. After playing with them for about 2 years, I switched clubs. That's when I went to Central Penn Field Hockey Club. I have been with Central Penn now for about 3 years. For all of those 3 years, I have been on a Level 1 team. My school team has been 3- time PIAA District 3 Class A champions and this past year we were also PIAA Class A Runner-Ups. (freshman season). I did not have a starting varsity spot my freshman year, though I started 1 game and got a lot of playing time. I worked hard in between seasons to earn a starting spot sophomore year. Our team was district runner-ups and state quarter-finalists. Thank you for your time and please consider looking at the rest of my page.
