About Me

I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and I truly enjoy working with others to meet their needs. I am bilingual, and I have worked in different roles at the elementary, middle, and high school level.  For the last four years, I have been working with families that are new to the country and helping them to adjust to the school system in the United States.

I have three children ages 27, 25, and 17, and only the youngest one is still at home with me. We have a 14 year old dog named Happy, and he loves everyone except other dogs. I love baseball, and cheer for the Astros big time. One of my favorite things to do outside of work, is to go in nature walks, and when possible, go hiking. 

As a mental health counselor, I am looking to build strong relationships with students, parents, and  everyone involved in the well being of my clients. I understand that mental health can sometimes feel intimidating, however, it does not have to be that way. On the contrary, mental health can be a space to grow and to heal, or just to figure out how to deal with our emotions.
