Hello and welcome!

This will be a general place for information on your son or daughter's American Literature class.

Each section of my class has an individual Google Classroom set up for students and parents.

Google Classroom is where more detailed information about each courses' day-to-day opperations, assignments, and study materials will be housed. Please, ask your son or daughter for the Google Classroom code.

They were asked to sign-up for Google Classroom in class with me on the first day in my class. The codes for Google Classroom will remain on my board for the first week of school. Then, students/parents can contact me for the code at anytime. It is necessary for the students to join.

American Literature spans from 1600- the Modern American Novel. It will be a fast paced year full of: poetry, fiction, formal writing, daily informal writing, and weekly vocabulary tests from Vocabulary Workshop.

I know we will be ready for the ACT in the Spring!
