Hello, my name is Marti Bowles and I am excited to be your English and World Geography teacher this year. This is my 28th year teaching and while much of my career has been in middle school, I have have spent time in all grade levels K-8. I grew up in East Tennessee and received my undergraduate degree in: Elementary Education Pk-8 and Middle Level Education for Science, Social Studies and English from Tennessee Tech University as well as my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I also received my endorsement in Online Education from Clemson University in 2024.

I am married and have two human children and one fur baby. I am an avid reader and music lover as well as enjoy being outside whenever possible. My daughter will be a freshman in high school this year and my son is living his best life while trying to decide what path he is going to take next. We love being with friends, cruising and spending time with our extended family.
