Message from Mr. Varga:
I have been teaching for 43 years and most of my career has been spent working with at-risk youth. I am a graduate of Winthrop College, received my master's degree from USC-Columbia, and I completed my Special Education training at Furman University. This is my 23rd year of teaching Special Education. I am married and have one son. It has always been my philosophy to provide a positive and supportive learning environment. What my students learn is important, as well as them having a great experience, both socially and academically!
Parents can call me at 355-3615 or email me at pvarga@greenville.k12.sc.us and I will get back with you as soon as possible.
The PHILOSOPHY in my classroom is to empower each student with the FOUNDATION needed to grow EDUCATIONALLY and SOCIALLY. My students are asked to make a PROMISE to:
*TAKE OUR TIME AND NOT RUSH THROUGH OUR WORK.
*TRY HARD AND NOT GIVE UP
*TAKE CHARGE OF OUR LEARNING AND NOT WASTE TIME
*DO THEIR BEST TO FOLLOW CLASSROOM AND SCHOOL RULES
*TREAT OTHERS WITH RESPECT
