Each quarter students a small group of students from each class are recognized for how they exhibit IB attributes with an award and invitation to have lunch on the stage with our principals. It is always a fun and exciting time for the students! Students are also recognized throughout the school year with Star Cards for exhibiting those attributes in every day situations at school. Our behavior chart in the classroom is tied into I.B. as well, highlighting friends choices regarding being extremely respectful, cooperative, balanced, reflective, and more.
They develop their natural curiosity. They acquire the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research and show independence in learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.
They explore concepts, ideas and issues that have local and global significance. In so doing, they acquire in-depth knowledge and develop understanding across a broad and balanced range of disciplines.
They exercise initiative in applying thinking skills critically and creatively to recognize and approach complex problems, and make reasoned, ethical decisions.

This year as we learn about the different I.B. learner attributes, your child may receive I.B. Brag Tags to wear throughout the day at school when they are seen exemplifying that profile trait or attribute!
