Mrs. Kay

Mrs. Kay has been in the field of education for 37 years. She has served at Taylors Elementary the entire time. She received an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina and a Masters degree in Counseling from Clemson University. She is certified in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Counseling.

Mrs. Kay loves to garden and takes every opportunity to work in her yard, as well as working in the school garden. She also enjoys quilting and painting gourds that she grows in her garden.

Mrs. Kay and her husband have two children, Kris and Kristy, and three grandchildren-Michael (who turned 18 on February 28, 2025) and Lexi and Katie (twins who turned 17 on August 18, 2025). Kris is married and his wife's name is Melanie. Michael, Lexi and Katie are their children. They live in Fort Mill, SC. Kristy lives in Asheville, NC and works for Express Employment in outside sales.

Mrs. Campbell

Originally from Southern New Hampshire, Mrs. Campbell has made South Carolina her home for most of her adult life. Mrs. Campbell is a graduate of Saint Anselm College (NH) and received her master’s in educational psychology from Northeastern University in Boston. She is married to Bryan, and together they have three children and two loving, sweet dogs. A fun fact about Mrs. Campbell: She has a deep love for traveling and adventures, a passion she shares with her husband and their children (most of the time) through road trips across the United States. One of her bucket list dreams is to visit Finland, where she hopes to uncover the secrets behind its reputation as the happiest country in the world.

Mrs. Campbell loves calling Taylors Elementary her home. Mrs. Campbell is deeply invested in supporting students and their families. Building authentic, strong relationships is at the core of her mission to serve the Taylors’ community.

MRS. BICKELHAUPT

Mrs. Bickelhaupt has been in education over 20 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University (War Eagle) and her Masters degree from East Georgia University. She was a kindergarten teacher for several years before stepping into the role of professional school counselor.

She and her husband moved to the Greenville area via Atlanta (25 years) and then the New Jersey/New York area for a few years. They are loving this area and enjoying all of the wonderful things Greenville has to offer.

She loves to do yoga, exercise, and read in her free time. She has her yoga certification and has done a few half marathons.

She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is looking forward to another wonderful school year.
