Athletes of the Week
Parents and Guardians,
In light of recent events at athletic venues across the country, Greenville County Schools has updated its safety requirements for athletic events, effective immediately.
For all Greenville County Schools athletic events, the following requirements are in place to ensure the safety of all attendees:
Middle school students and younger must be accompanied by an adult 19 years old or older to every athletic event
High school students must have a school-issued ID to enter an athletic event alone; otherwise, they must be accompanied by an adult 19 years old or older
No loitering in any area; all fans need to sit in the home or visitor stands during the event
Not following any of the rules outlined above will result in removal from the event without a refund
As a reminder, there is a clear bag policy for GCS events.
In addition, Riverside High School does not allow any outside food or drink into the stadium.
Thank you for your cooperation and help to ensure the safety of all attendees.

Riverside High School is committed to encouraging parent involvement at our school. When parents can work side by side with administrators and teachers, our students achieve at their highest potential. Whether it's helping support our teachers through hospitality events, stuffing back-to-school packets, or doing a shift in the school store, all of these activities make Riverside High work, and make Riverside High staff have the most positive impact on our students.

In celebration of National Arts in Education Week, RHS PTSA is launching its annual Reflections Contest! Does your student enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? Then join us in encouraging your child to have fun unleashing their inner artist with PTA Reflections! This year’s theme, “I am Hopeful Because...,” calls for their unique interpretation through the arts. Students will enjoy rewards ($50 for 1st Place!) and recognition for their effort, and their judged entry may be selected as a winner at the school, district, state, or national level. Check out the Reflections information on our PTSA website. Or contact keridille@charter.net for more information. Entries are due Friday, December 8, 2023.

PTSA to Sell Spirit Wear!
The Riverside High School PTSA will be selling Comfort Colors Riverside T-shirts, Crew sweatshirts, and Hoodies at all home football games this Fall. Credit/Debit card ONLY for payment.
Do you know what the Booster Club does? At Riverside, we are here to raise money and create a winning and fun culture for our student athletes, families and the school itself. We are a non-profit in which 100% of the money raised goes back to our athletic teams or to make future events bigger and better each year.
How can you contribute and help your Booster Club? We have a membership drive that will start this week on GoFan. We are hoping that we can get the majority of families at Riverside to become a member. Not only is it tax deductible and inexpensive, it directly helps your coaches and students through athletic needs and wants. There is strength in numbers! We are also looking for Corporate sponsors for some of our events. If you own a business or would like to introduce us to someone that may have an interest, we want to talk with them. Have them reach out to JD Nelson or Nathan Headley with the RHS Booster Club or message us through this site.
Please follow our Facebook page Riverside Warrior Booster Club and Twitter @RHSWarriorClub and look for the Booster Club table at our home football games this year!
