About Mrs. Arnold...

I am originally from Cheraw, South Carolina.  My family moved to Fountain Inn when I was in the 4th grade, so I call the Greenville area home.  I graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1993.  In 1998, I received my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University. GO TIGERS!  This will be my 28th year of teaching at Mauldin Elementary.  I have taught kindergarten 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.

I am excited to be teaching another year in third grade and look forward to growing my students into their very best selves this year!  3rd grade is a big year of learning and growth. It's also the students' first year for SCReady state testing. But don't worry, everything we do will have them prepped and ready to tackle it in the spring! 3rd grade is THE BEST!

My husband and very best friend, Chris, and I have four children. Addison (20) will be starting her junior year at Anderson University.  Ava (20) will be starting her junior year at Furman University. Liam (16) will be a junior at Riverside High, and Madi (14) will be starting her freshman year at Riverside High.  They keep us on our toes, laughing, and constantly on the go!  We also have two fur babies, Renny and Rowie (aka "Tootie").

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to church, the gym, running, being outdoors, cooking out, reading and spending time on Lake Keowee and the beach- 30A/Florida beaches are our favorite!

A fun fact about me is Mrs. Bryson (also teaches 3rd grade) is my sister-in-law, so I get to work with family!
