This introductory laboratory-based course is designed to familiarize the Honors Biology student with the major concepts of biological science:
Cells as a System
Energy Transfer
Heredity – Inheritance and Variation of Traits
Biological Evolution – Unity and Diversity
Ecosystem Dynamics
This course provides numerous opportunities for students to develop science process skills, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the nature of science through inquiry-based learning experiences.
