Lorna Scott

My name is Lorna  Scott ,7th  Grade science teacher.  I am a  21st century educator who  strongly believes that in discovering knowledge ,learners are capable of changing the world around them in a positive way.  I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic educator who wants all children to be successful learners, one who is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to students. I have had over 25 years teaching experience from grade 7 to 13. Teaching General Science, Biology , Human and Social Biology and Advanced Biology. This has equipped me with the knowledge and skills and values pertinent to the teaching profession and current education era. These include a deep knowledge of content area ,creativity, effective pedagogical skills, critical thinking skills , collaboratively ,leadership, and high professional standards.
