B+L and CMI Field Trip - October 5th, 9:00am-2:00pm
Attention Seniors! Interested in learning about the modern manufacturing world? Interested in biomedical engineering? School counselors are taking a field trip to tour the Bosch and Lomb plant and the Center for Manufacturing Innovation on Friday, October 5th from 9:00 to 2:00. The first 30 students to sign up AND turn in the Field Trip Permission form will be allowed to attend! Sign up and get the Field Trip Permission form in the school counseling office. For questions, please see your school counselor!

Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities Visit
A representative from the Governor’s School for the Arts & Humanities in downtown Greenville will be on campus to talk about their summer and residential programs on Thursday, September 20th during all three lunches.
If you are interested in learning about programs that provide pre-professional training in your art area, you must sign up to attend their presentation by Wednesday, September 19th! Sign up sheets are located in the school counseling office lobby.

The counseling office would like to welcome our new counselors for the 2018-2019 school year. We are excited for Vaneasha Danzy and Elizabeth Hayes to join our team. They bring with them a wealth of knowledge and a passion to help our students be successful.
We would also like to acknowledge our Fall Intern Samantha Hilker. She is coming to us courtesy of Clemson University, and we are excited about the opportunities to learn she will have here at JL Mann.
