Homework

As a grade level and school policy students are only given reading homework every night. We believe students need time to be kids and should not be overloaded with school work that can easily be completed during the school day.

Students are expected to complete the following homework every night:

Read for 20 minutes and complete reading log.

Complete weekly word work homework. Instructions for each word activity are located on the inside cover of the spelling notebook.

Monday - Rainbow Words

Tuesday - ABC Order

Wednesday - Stair Steps

Thursday - Sentences

There is no homework on Fridays however, students are encouraged to read over the weekend!
