Attendance Information and Policies:
School Instruction Begins at 7:45 a.m. - Students need to be in the classroom, ready to learn by this time. Teachers will mark students tardy if not in the classroom by 7:45 a.m.
School Dismisses at 2:15 p.m. - Have a plan in place to pick up your student in a timely manner.
No Early Dismissals before 1:45 p.m. - Students leaving early must be picked up & signed out before 1:45 p.m.
Reporting Absences - All absences need to be reported to the ATTENDANCE CLERK! A parent must submit all absences either through the Parent Note Google Form, Doctor's Note Google Form, or by hand delivering or emailing to Mrs. Frank. Absences without notes will be counted as unexcused.
10 Allowable Student Absences per School Year - Students are only allowed to miss 10 school days each year. A Parent Note must be submitted to the Attendance Clerk in order for the absence to count as Excused or Unexcused.
Student Absences in Excess of 10 - After 10 Absences, all further absences will be unexcused unless accompanied by a medical note. Please refer to the student handbook for further information on Excused & Unexcused Parent Notes.
Truancy Law - A child is considered truant by SC Law after 3 consecutive or 5 total unexcused absences. You will receive an automated notice from the district if your student is truant

I haven't taken any fever reducing medicine for 24 hours, and I haven't had a fever (100 degrees or higher) during that time.

I've had the sniffles for more than a week, and they aren't getting better.
I still have asthma symptoms after using my asthma medicine (and call 911 if I'm having trouble breathing after using an inhaler.
