Health Room News

Welcome to a new school year! I have been a critical care nurse for over 15 years and I am excited to work with you to ensure a happy and healthy educational experience. Please be sure that you have provided an up to date immunization record to the school as your child receives vaccines through out the year.

If your child has daily medication that will need to be administered during the school day, please print out a prescription medication or over the counter medication form from Greenville County Schools website. For any prescription medications, the form MUST be filled out and signed by your doctor and the medication must be provided to the health room in it's original container. A 30 day supply may be provided. For any over the counter medications, ie: tylenol, motrin, cold medication, etc. Please bring the medication in an unopened package and have your child's name clearly printed on the package.

COVID 19: Please monitor your child at home for symptoms of COVID 19. If your child is ill, please keep them at home and contact your child's health care provider for evaluation. Teach your child proper hand washing and steps to prevent the spread of germs. Please see the GCSD web site for mask requirements per grade level.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and healthy school year!

If your child has an health concerns, please let your child's teacher and the nurse know. If there is anything I can do to assist in making sure your child has a great year, please feel free to let me know!
